Back To Base Monitoring, Monitored Alarm Systems
There are several benefits of having back to base security as it provides you with complete peace of mind.
Your domestic or commercial alarm system can be connected to our back to base monitoring facility which is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The monitoring station that INTEGRITY uses is a Certified Grade A1 Control Room.
Back to base monitoring is the key reporting link in electronic security. If your alarm system can monitor it, then it can be detected, and if it can be detected then it can be reported.
When a detection device is triggered, the control panel receives a signal notifying it of a change of state in the system. The control panel then determines the appropriate response and if required sends a signal to the monitoring station.
INTEGRITY's customers are able to utilise the long standing relationships with selected and recognised monitoring companies who are customer focused and ethically like-minded to provide the highest level of alarm monitoring services.
We are able to provide our clients with a choice of Dialler, GSM or GPRS monitoring options.
The alarm activation would transmit through your domestic or commercial telephone line through to the back to base monitoring station, who would receive a coded message advising them of the situation that is occurring at your premises. The siren would sound for the permitted 5 minutes then shut itself down and your system's information and data will be displayed on the monitoring station's computer showing specific instructions for the base operator to react to. The specific procedure is customised for your individual requirements.
An example of a customised procedure is:
- Only Respond to multipule detections (commercial use with many detection zones)
- Contact you on home or mobile phone
- Contact a family member or member of staff
- Dispatch a security patrol (your selected patrol company)
- Contact Police
The response action by the monitoring station is always in line with your original instructions and desired outcome.
Whilst a Dial up system will immediately alert the monitoring station of an alarm activation via the existing telephone line, the monitoring station will not be aware of a line fault condition until the alarm panel fails to send through a test signal.
An alternative for your alarm monitoring option and a back-up system to your phone line is GSM or GPRS. GSM is the acronym for the network called Global System for Mobile Communications and GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service. These are second generation digital technology used for mobile phone communication but with the added capacity to send data services.
The GSM or GPRS device constantly monitors the telephone line and automatically switches and reports of the monitored line failure should a line malfunction occur.
Therefore, back to base monitoring provides a continuous record of conditions at your home or business. Changes in conditions are immediately transmitted to the back to base monitoring station and the appropriate response is instigated. It is only a matter of seconds from the activation of the alarm to the back to base station responding to intruder detection by your burglar alarm, personal attack or duress alarms, power failures and electrical faults or equipment breakdowns and a range of emergency situations from fire to flooding. Remember the monitoring station is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
As an added service for our commercial customers, we can produce activity reports on a regular basis. These reports, taken from alarm data, will document all the alarm system's activities. Reports cover opening and closing of the businesses premises, alarm activations, and user code access activity.
Therefore by ensuring that your domestic or commercial alarm system is monitored you can rest assured that your property and the people around you are safe and protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. So as you leave your home to go to work or alternatively leave your business to go home you will have piece of mind that your home or business is continually being watched over by INTEGRITY Locksmiths & Security.
